Buy coffee beans? | Coffee shots Amsterdam
Do you want to buy honest and freshly roasted coffee beans? Then you are at the right place at Coffeeshots.nl! A good espresso depends on many factors. An important factor is that we buy the best coffee beans from the farmer. In addition, perhaps the most important factor is freshly roasted coffee beans. Because we are often disappointed with the freshness and taste of coffee beans, we roast our own selection of single estate beans in Amsterdam every week and we develop the blends ourselves. This way we can guarantee quality. We can therefore safely say that we sell the tastiest coffee beans with which you can make the most exclusive coffee. You can of course easily buy coffee beans in our webshop, choose from various beans with their own blends.
What criteria do Coffee shots coffee beans have to meet? It is important that our own selection and selections of other micro-roasters meet a number of criteria:
The beans are purchased direct trade / fair gate. No 'fair trade' with many (transparent) intermediaries and expensive stamps
The coffee farmers can use help to improve working conditions, social conditions and innovation
The coffee beans are top quality. Specialty coffee only! Life is too short for bad coffee!
The micro roasting house frequently roasts the green beans so that the coffee lover always receives freshly roasted beans.
Coffee Shots currently has a nice Yellow Bourbon from Brazil, a Monsooned Malabar from India and Mandheling from Sumatra in the current selection along with a nice seasonal blend.
We ship in handy fresh bags that can go through the letterbox. Separately or in a subscription form so that you can enjoy freshly roasted beans every week.
Fair to the coffee farmer
Coffee shots do not think it is OK that the coffee farmer only earns marginally from the sale of green beans. We only work with coffee beans that are purchased directly (direct trade) from the farmer at a fair price (the start of the value chain). Even after the purchase of every kilo of coffee beans, we refund the farmers 2% of our turnover. This allows the coffee farmer to profit for the first time at the end of the value chain and significantly increase his kilo yield. This will improve working conditions, allow for better training, and allow for innovation again. Coffee shots does not think it is OK that the coffee drinker in a coffee bar pays a (too) high price for (not always) high-quality coffee. Our name originated from this. A cup of coffee is made up of a number of elements, shots.
How do we do that
Coffee shots was founded on October 29, 2015 with a mission: fair coffee for everyone. Fair coffee for everyone at Coffee shots Amsterdam means fair to the coffee farmer and fair to the coffee drinker. The coffee beans are freshly roasted in Amsterdam.
